Why cotton

Cotton takes moisture off the skin instead of holding it against you, and unlike polyester it gives odour-causing bacteria nothing to cling to. That's the difference between a shirt you can wear two days running and one that turns after an hour. It breathes in warm weather, it softens with every wash rather than wearing out, and there's no plastic feel against the skin.
